Drawing from the rich tapestry of Iranian artistic heritage — from the intricate tilework of Isfahan to the lyrical sweep of Persian calligraphy — Ashley creates works that breathe new life into ancient visual languages.

Each piece is a conversation between worlds: the timeless geometry of Safavid architecture and the textures of contemporary life. Pomegranates, arabesque patterns, and fragments of Farsi poetry reappear as motifs that honour her roots while speaking to the present moment.
